A craft cocktail bar and restaurant is quietly opening on Saturday, Sept. 30, at SkySong, Arizona State University’s Scottsdale Innovation Center.

The 2,700-square-foot gastropub, called Bitters, is holding its grand opening over the second weekend in October.

Wetta Ventures, a commercial real estate company, developed a 12,000-square-foot standalone building at SkySong on the southeast corner of Scottsdale and McDowell roads. This spring, it announced the addition of two restaurants: Bitters and New York Bagels ‘N Bialys, which hasn’t opened yet.

The company is behind The Annex in Tempe, home to Postino and Snooze; and Old School 07 in central Phoenix, home to Taco Guild and a Starbucks.
